Editor in Chief - Oncogene (01/01/2026)

I am delighted to announce that I will be assuming the role of Editor-in-Chief of Oncogene (https://www.nature.com/onc/) from 1st of January 2026. It is both an honor and a profound privilege to lead a journal with such a distinguished legacy, and I embrace this responsibility with great commitment.

Looking ahead, I am committed to promoting cutting-edge, interdisciplinary cancer research and attract the highest quality submissions from leading laboratories worldwide by ensuring a rigorous, fair, and swift review process.

In the following months, I plan to visit various institutes/universities around China to engage directly with researchers. These seminars will provide insights into the journal’s scope and editorial process, offering guidance on publishing in Oncogene. I welcome invitations from departments interested in hosting such a discussion.
